Culture and Internship Program

AQ'ANK'ULAL: Welcome to Guatemala! The Guatemalan Culture Program will begin 
with an orientation and city tour of Guatemala City and Antigua Guatemala. Students will take Lower and Upper Division UCD courses in Native American Studies taught by UC Davis professors.
Orientations
There will be a two or three mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation Sessions in Davis and an in-country orientation in Guatemala. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and acclimate to Guatemala and participate in planned activities.
Academics
Students will take Lower and Upper Division UCD courses in Native American Studies 
taught by UC Davis professors and faculty from National University of San Carlos de Guatemala. As part of the academic program students will attend lectures and discussions and participate in excursions and an internship.
