Culture and Internship Program

Cheerio! From a home base in the lovely Borough of Kensington, London participants will complete an internship for credit only,while taking two Upper Division English courses focusing on the rich culture, literature, and history of England. Excursions out and about in London are an integral part of the program and are covered by the program fees. Students will also participate in a one-day excursion to Bath and Stonehenge. Additional activities and excursions will be available for a fee through the CAPA London Study Center.

Orientations

There will be one on-line general orienation and one country-specific orientation on campus; both are mandatory. There will also be an in-country orientation and city tour in London. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and acclimate to the Kensington neighborhood through participation in planned activities.

Academics

Students will take two Upper Division English courses focusing on the culture, literature and history of England, while participating in an internship for a total of 14 quarter units of credit. After acceptance into the program, students are required to complete additional application materials for their internship placement.
