Internship Support
CAPA London Study Center in conjunction with the UCD Internship & Career Center, offer complete internship support services. Led by a widely experienced and dedicated team, our program takes the student from initial interest, through the application procedure, resume guidance, organization search, and, finally, the placing of students into internships that match their interests, skills and career goals. Once in London, students will participate in an interactive seminar to prepare them for thier internship experience. Students also receive on-going support in their internships through participation in a seminar series entitled "Perspectives on Experiential Learning Abroad." Through this seminar CAPA faculty act as internship mentors and students produce papers and a final portfolio to process their internship experience. Students are monitored throughout their internships to ensure they are receiving appropriate training and guidance, and at the end of the internships, students evaluate their experience.

 

Study Center
The CAPA London Study Center is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, a well-known historical area in central London. The Center is well-served by public transportation, with easy access to all of London's boroughs. The Borough of Kensington, adjacent to Chelsea, covers an area of four-and-a-half square miles and has a population of 150,000. It is a wonderful area of London, with many parks, Victorian era homes, and museums. Some of London's most famous streets, academic institutions, and historic sites lie in the immediate neighborhood surrounding CAPA's Study Center.

Technological Services
CAPA provides extensive and convenient technological support to visiting students . The CAPA London Center is wireless throughout and has state of the art classrooms. CAPA's Learning Resource Center has a library, a large study area and a large number of computers.

In addition, students staying in apartments will have wireless internet connection. An internet connection is not guaranteed in homestays.
