Bienvenidos! Spain...the very name conjures magical images of sun-drenched beaches, Moorish castles and a rich cultural and artistic heritage. So why not study in Spain's capital city and great cosmopolitan metropolis?

When you study abroad in Madrid, you'll walk through history itself, down stoned-paved streets and past countless flowering balconies of the 18th century buildings before arriving in Madrid's city center, famous for tapas, shopping and entertainment. The unique spirit of Madrid is both serene and lively, making it a captivating place to study abroad and learn Spanish in Spain.

Students will take intensive and accelerated courses in Spanish language and culture, with planned activities and excursions to highlight Spain's incredible history and beautiful scenery.

Orientations

There will be one on-line general orienation and one country-specific orientation on campus; both are mandatory. There will also be an in-country orientation once you arrive in Mendoza. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and acclimate to Madrid and participate in planned activities.

Academics

Students will take intensive and accelerated Spanish language classes through the ACCENT Madrid Center. Students will also take a Spanish Culture class in which they have an opportunity to reflect on their experiences in Spain in the context of Spanish culture.
