What is UC Davis Quarter Abroad?

The Quarter Abroad (QA) program is one of four study abroad programs offered through the Education Abroad Center. Quarter Abroad is unique to the UC Davis Campus. QA programs offer students a chance to earn UC Davis units while participating in quarter-length programs designed by UC Davis faculty and taught in an international setting!

How is it different from other programs?

UC Davis Quarter Abroad programs are designed by UC Davis faculty for UC Davis students. Programs range from 10-16 weeks, and students take UC Davis courses, while earning 12-22+ quarter units straight out of the UC Davis Course Catalog (no transferring of credits required). Students may apply UC Davis Quarter Abroad courses toward their Major, Minor, General Education or foreign language requirements. Many programs offer internships as well!
