GoinGlobal is a free resource for you as a UC Davis student where you can find global career guides and a worldwide job and internship search engine. The Culture Wizard provides opportunities for you to build your intercultural skills. GoinGlobal also has an employer directory and H1B plus granting instant access to millions of visa petitions from U.S employers seeking to hire international talent.

Global Learning Hub Programs Search Tool

Search a curated list of global internships on the Global Learning Hub’s “Discover Programs” webpage. Find internships in a variety of focus areas/themes, times of year, location. Opportunities available for undergraduates through those in postgraduate studies.

UC Davis Global Affairs Sustainable Development Goals Internship 

The UC Davis Global Affairs Sustainable Development Goals Internship is an opportunity focused on strengthening UC Davis' engagement with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is a 2-credit internship and will involve 6-8 hours of work per week. Available fall quarter. No cost. Unpaid. 

UC Davis Washington Program 

UC Davis Washington Program is an opportunity for students to live in the heart of Washington DC while taking classes and pursuing an internship. Students will earn 12 units or more, have opportunities to network with UC alumni, learn in small classes from experts, and participate in a speaker series featuring DC professionals (past speakers have included Supreme Court Justices, politicians, experts on international, environmental, and health policy, and journalists). Internships can be in person or remote. Financial aid applies. 

DAAD RISE Germany

RISE Germany is a summer research internship program which places students in positions at top German universities and research institutions. Students are matched with a host university or institute according to their area of interest and are mentored by doctoral students and researchers. German language is not required and the working language is English.

Humboldt Research Internship Program in Berlin

UC Davis students are eligible to apply for a virtual or in-person research or business start-up project with the Humboldt Internship Program in Berlin. Advanced undergrads, grad students and Ph.D. students have the opportunity to become part of work teams at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and engage with academic research on a high level. Scholarships available.

UCEAP Research Internships

With UCEAP Research Internships, students can conduct faculty-guided research while working alongside students from another country. Explore the various programs UCEAP has to offer.

Article 26 Backpack Internship

UC Davis Global Affairs and UC Davis Human Rights Studies are building a team of interns to support the Article 26 Backpack – the UC Davis Tool for Universal Academic Mobility. Backpack, as we call it, is a multi-lingual ecosystem that empowers refugees, displaced, and at-risk young people around the world exercise their human right to education.
