You're Invited!

Join us at the UC Davis Global Learning Fair to learn about the variety of global opportunities and funding resources available to you. Hosted by the Global Learning Hub, the fair is comprised of in-person global leadership opportunities, study abroad programs, global internships, post-graduate global opportunities, funding for global learning programs and more!

At the Global Learning Fair, students can:

• Learn from advisors and other students about study abroad, internships, post-graduation, on-campus and virtual opportunities that will meet individual needs.
• Hear from globally engaged students about their experiences.
• Discover the benefits of being globally engaged.

• Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

• Funding available: Up to $5,000 through the U.S. Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program.

  The Gilman Scholarship supports undergraduate students with financial need who wish to study or intern abroad. Applicants must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application (or provide documentation showing they will receive one during their program). The scholarship expands access to global learning by helping students pursue experiences in countries and regions around the world.

• The U.S. Passport Grant Program covers the cost of one Adult U.S. Passport Book with standard processing and delivery.

• Exploring Global Leadership Programs Info Session (Virtual)
• October 15, 2026, 12–1 p.m., Zoom
  Curious about how to grow as a global leader? This info session will introduce you to opportunities that help you strengthen your leadership skills, engage across cultures, and reflect deeply on your values and goals—preparing you for a meaningful global career. Register for the info session.
• U21 Sustainable Micro-Internships Info Session (Virtual)
• October 19, 4–5 p.m., Zoom
  Come learn more about this free, two-week virtual internship opportunity that connects you with peers worldwide to tackle real global challenges in areas related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Full program details.

• Marketing Your Global Experiences for the Job Search
• October 21, 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m., International Center, Room 3119
  Learn how to translate your global experiences for employers through resumes, cover letters, and job interviews. In this workshop, we’ll help you articulate the skills you’ve learned from global experiences and then communicate them effectively throughout your job search. If you’ve studied abroad, completed an international internship, participated in an on-campus opportunity with our global community, or had any other experience with a global aspect, this workshop is for you.

• Engaging with the Sustainable Development Goals: Program Opportunities with Global Affairs
• October 22, 12–1 p.m., Zoom
  Want to be part of creating a more sustainable future? Join the UC Davis SDG Interns and the Global Learning Hub to learn more about the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how you can pursue and support the goals as a UC Davis student. This info session will offer a general overview of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and SDGs and provide information on the many programs offered by Global Affairs for students to engage with the SDGs.
