Shaping the Next Generations of Leaders
As global challenges grow more complex, interconnected, and fast-moving, addressing them requires leaders who can think systemically, work across cultures, and innovate beyond traditional boundaries. The Undergraduate Leaders’ Program (ULP) fosters these capabilities by engaging students in interdisciplinary learning, real-world problem solving within diverse, international contexts.
The program is sponsored by the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), a network of leading universities linking the Americas, Asia, and Australasia to bring together thought leaders, researchers, and policy-makers to exchange ideas and collaborate on practical solutions to the challenges of the 21st century.
Program Highlights
The Undergraduate Leaders’ Program (ULP) is a 10-day program that provides cultural exchange experiences and unique learning opportunities, exposing undergraduate students to trending topics ranging from cultural diplomacy to artificial intelligence. This program supports emerging undergraduate leaders in becoming real-world changemakers by driving awareness, action, and change, and supporting them in their academic and personal goals through a short international experience at one of the 64 APRU universities. Every year the program is hosted by one of the APRU universities and engages student leaders around a global challenge.
