Peer Advisors & Administrative Assistants

As a Peer Advisor & Administrative Assistant in the Global Learning Hub at UC Davis, you will help generate interest and enthusiasm about global opportunities at UC Davis, including study abroad, internships, research, and much more. You will be a vital part of many aspects of the student enrollment and pre-departure process. This is an opportunity to further develop your leadership, office, public speaking, communication, customer service, organizational and advising skills in a supportive and professional environment. This position offers 12 hours per week.

Data Assistant

Assist the Enrollment Database Administrator by creating custom reports, maintaining data integrity, and working on the Study Abroad Database to ensure a smooth enrollment process for study abroad applicants. You will be a vital part of all aspects of the student enrollment and pre-departure process. Further develop your teamwork, leadership, office, and organizational skills. Eight hours are expected per week—including occasional evenings and weekends. We are only recruiting for one Data Assistant.

Global Affairs

Global Education for All Fellows Program

As an undergraduate student Fellow in the Global Education for All Fellows Program, students will have the opportunity to contribute towards the campus-wide initiative of Global Education for All (GE4A). Fellows have options to advise on different aspects of GE4A, or work on team projects that help further integrate global learning on campus. Fellows come from a variety of different fields of study, so there is opportunity for interdisciplinary networking and collaboration. In addition, undergraduate Fellows will have the chance to be mentored by graduate student Fellows and work with campus leadership. The Fellows Program is a one-academic-year commitment, with monthly meetings.

Global Affairs offers various forms of student employment and internships with opportunities to gain project-based experience in areas including:

  • administrative and business operations,
  • communications and marketing,

  • event planning and program development, 
  • international fellowship programs,
  • international relations and programs,
  • services for international students and scholars,
