About the Universitas 21 (U21) Global Citizens Program

The U21 Global Citizens Program is an online leadership development program delivered by Common Purpose, a global nonprofit organization that specializes in cross-boundary leadership. Participants will develop ideas together, across borders and time zones, honing skills needed to thrive in the 21st century while tackling some of the world’s most pressing problems outlined in United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Program Description

  • Three-week program: March 11–29, 2024.
  • Each week requires a minimum of 3 hours of online learning that you can complete on your own time.
  • Participate in live online reflection workshops, where you will draw on the learning from that week and engage in discussions with other students from across the globe. You will choose one from each session block.

  • Be in a position to move forward as an individual or with a group of like-minded individuals to progress their sustainable development goal.

Program Cost

FREE. This exclusive, free opportunity is only available to students at U21 member universities and is open to students of all disciplines, undergraduate or graduate students.

Eligibility

  • Must be a registered student at UC Davis.
  • Must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Must commit to participating in the full three weeks of the program.
  • Students who have previously completed the U21 Global Citizens Program are not eligible.
