Global learning represents an intrinsic process of finding one's self through external, diverse experiences. Such experiences are what facilitate civic and academic growth and prepare one to step into the interconnected world of the 21st century.

It is precisely a fascination with the apparatus of this ever so changing world which lead me on my path toward pursuing the field of International Relations. Nevertheless, I owe this found fascination to my experiences across the globe. In establishing indelible, lasting connections to people and their environments, I came to understand the profound nature of "global learning" as not menial words to cultivate allure, but as a philosophy—an outlook—on the phenomenon of intercultural proliferation.
