Hola! My name is Valeria. I am a fourth-year student majoring in International Relations with minors in French, Human Rights, and Environmental Policy Analysis. 

My global learning experiences come from growing up between Mexico and the United States and the multiple advantages of bilingual and multicultural education. I recently returned to campus from a study abroad program in Reims, France, where I studied at SciencesPo, one of Europe's most prestigious political science universities. 

I have worked at the Global Learning Hub since 2021 as part of the Peer Advising and Outreach team. At the GLH, you will find many opportunities to pursue your academic and career pursuits. From study abroad and internship abroad opportunities to volunteering, language and culture exchange, and fostering community engagement with the international community in Davis, the Global Learning Hub is the ultimate place that seeks to inspire global curiosity, understanding, and engagement. 

I enjoy reading and listening to podcasts in my spare time. I also enjoy going on walks and engaging in outdoor activities when possible. Playing the piano and music are my favorite things to do
