Summer Abroad China - Travel

The study abroad program provides pre-departure and on-site orientations, requires students to arrange their own travel with detailed instructions provided, includes van and train transportation within Australia, and involves securing the necessary visas and insurance coverage, with additional resources for international and LGBTQIA+ travelers.

Summer Abroad China - Cost

The "Global Fashion in China" program fees vary and do not include airfare or personal expenses, while financial aid may be available, and accommodations include lodging, select meals, transportation, and health insurance.

Summer Abroad China - On Site

Students will stay in hotels with two beds and free internet in Shanghai and Wuxi, with meals, some on-campus facilities, and optional excursions, while accommodations may change if necessary.

Summer Abroad China - Instructor

Adele Zhang received her B.S. in Industrial Design with a specialization in Apparel Design and worked in the fashion industry and textile trading business for years before she moved to California for her M.F.A. in Textile Arts & Costume Design at UC Davis.
