The Global Learning Hub, within Global Affairs, is pleased to share the 2026 lineup of Global Learning Programs, designed to strengthen your global leadership skills and support meaningful solutions to worldwide challenges. Most opportunities are free or funded and available exclusively to UC Davis students.

Global Social Impact
Programs where you’ll collaborate across cultures, engage with community partners, and support community-driven solutions to key global challenges.
Connect with Rwanda: Exploring One Health for a More Sustainable World
Travel to Rwanda in June 2026 with a small cohort of undergraduate students and a UC Davis faculty member to explore One Health issues in the context of sustainable development.
Cost: Reduced program fee of $1,500 (includes group round-trip flight)
Eligibility: Undergraduate students of all majors
Deadline: February 5
Widening Circles: Global Social Impact Program
This funded Summer 2026 program integrates online learning, mentorship, and reflection with a social impact internship, volunteer opportunity, or globally focused research project—either locally or abroad.
Funding: Program fee covered + $2,000 grant
Deadline: March 16
Global Skills & Leadership
Hands-on experiences that build intercultural communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills for an increasingly interconnected world.
Global Ambassador Mentorship Program: Become a Mentor
Support incoming international students through peer mentorship while gaining intercultural leadership experience, developing programming and strengthening career-readiness skills.
Eligibility: Current undergraduates
Funding: Receive $500 payment
Deadline: February 1
U21 Global Citizens Program
In this free, virtual program (March 9–27, 2026), join an online global cohort to explore the UN Sustainable Development Goals through self-paced learning and live discussions, and convert your insights into real action.
Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students
Deadline: February 12
APRU Undergraduate Leaders’ Program
Held at SUSTech in Shenzhen, China (June 22–July 3, 2026), this immersive program focuses on the future of AI and robotics and how these technologies will transform society.
Funding: Program fee covered
Deadline: February 22
Global Grad Grants
Graduate and professional students are invited to apply for funding to support globally focused research or a social impact internship in Summer 2026.
Funding: Program fee covered + $2,000 award for activities and travel
Deadline: March 16
