University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP)
UCEAP offers programs of various lengths and terms. You can study at world-renowned universities in English, immerse yourself in another academic culture or take language classes. Enrollment opens November 14 for 2025-26 programs. Many programs have limited capacity—so start your search now.
UC Davis Study Abroad Photo Contest
The annual UC Davis Study Abroad Photo Contest recognizes and celebrates student photography taking place on the many study abroad programs offered throughout the year. Top prizes (for all winners and finalists): gift cards ranging from $25-$200! Deadline: September 20.
Global Leadership, Internships, and Research
Global Affairs United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Internship
This internship provides an opportunity for UC Davis undergraduate students to actively contribute to campus engagement on the SDGs, gaining knowledge of organizational strategy, campus and external coordination, and communications and analytical skills to support this global agenda. Deadline: September 16.
UC Davis Global Pathfinders: Charting a Path to Global Learning
Participate in this small cohort-based First-Year Seminar/First-Year Aggie Connection to learn about all the resources and programs offered by the Global Learning Hub and to explore and develop key global and intercultural skills necessary for a global workforce.
Universitas 21 (U21) Sustainable Micro-Internships
The U21 Sustainable Micro-Internships Program is a free, virtual, two-week project-based internship for undergrad and grad students. Work with students from across the globe, sharing knowledge and expertise while providing solutions to a challenge related to one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Applications will open in October.
Nanyang Technological University Global Connect Fellowship
The Global Connect Fellowship is an opportunity for bachelor's and master's students— preferably in STEM and graduating in 2025 or 2026—to spend two-three months undertaking research under the mentorship of world-leading faculty at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore’s campus. Receive a stipend of ~$3,821 USD (two months)/~$4,967 (three months). Apply. Deadline: September 15.
Douglass-O'Connell Global Internship
On this eight-week summer internship program in Dublin, Ireland, participants will expand their understanding of Irish history and culture while gaining work experience. Intern with a host company and complete a six-credit internship seminar. Participants will receive a fellowship award that covers the full program cost, airfare and a living stipend. Apply. Volunteer at International Festival with International House Davis
International House Davis is seeking volunteers for the upcoming International Festival event, October 5–6. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with International House staff, event planners and artists from around the world; and help participants enjoy a full day of celebration.

UC Davis’ First Voyager Sets Sail–a Journey of Leadership and Global Change
Rising third-year UC Davis student Maddison Cunningham received The Obama-Chesky Scholarship for Public Service, known as The Voyager Scholarship. Cunningham is the first UC Davis student to earn The Voyager Scholarship since its inception in 2022. Voyagers design an immersive travel opportunity, between their junior and senior year, that advances their commitment to public service.
Gilman International Scholarship Program
The Gilman Scholarship provides up to $5,000 for Federal Pell Grant recipients to participate in international study abroad and internship programs. Learn about the scholarship program, eligibility requirements, the application process and how to become a competitive applicant. Upcoming info sessions.
Schwarzman Scholars
Receive a full scholarship for a one-year graduate program (M.A. in Global Affairs) at Schwarzman College of Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Scholars will study and live at Schwarzman College and partake in a core curriculum focusing on public policy, economics and business or international relations. Deadline: September 12.
Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellowship
This fellowship aims to attract and prepare outstanding young people for careers in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State in which they can help formulate, represent and implement U.S. foreign policy. Apply. Deadline: September 19.
Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship
Graduate fellowships are available to qualified students committed to joining the foreign service. This fellowship helps finance two-year graduate programs, provides two summer internships, offers mentoring from a Foreign Service Officer and provides other professional development activities. Apply. Deadline: September 26.
Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship
$104,000 is available towards a two-year master’s degree in preparation for entry to the U.S. Foreign Service Agency for International Development (USAID). The program includes mentorship, two paid summer internships and USAID employment. Applicants must be college seniors or graduates who are U.S. citizens. Deadline: October 24.

U.S Passport Grant Program – Info Session
October 4, 1:00–2:00 p.m., Zoom. The U.S. Passport Grant Program covers the cost of one Adult U.S. Passport Book. In Fall 2024, the program will award 100 passports to UC Davis undergraduate students. Exploring Global Leadership and Community Engagement Programs
