Program Overview
Bad Bunny’s album “Debí tirar más fotos”/“I should have taken more pictures,” is more than nostalgia. It is a meditation on memory, place and the importance of preserving communities in the face of colonialism, migration and displacement. This program invites students to engage deeply with the politics, cultures and communities that have shaped Puerto Rico and the challenges it faces today through a three-week intensive course in Puerto Rico. Learn the history, art, literature and politics of the archipelago. Visit key historical and cultural sites, engage with artists and activists, and learn from community organizations building more just and livable futures.
