Program Overview
Get a Global Start to your UC education through the University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP)!
Global Start is an experience unlike anything you will find on campus. Global Start offers a unique opportunity to study in Europe, where courses are enriched by local history and culture, and excursions bring lessons to life. The program helps you develop essential skills like study habits, writing, and financial literacy, while building intercultural awareness and independence. You'll earn UC credits that count toward your degree, and the experience will prepare you for success both at UC and beyond.
As a student in Seville, Spain, you’ll be immersed in a vibrant Andalusian culture rich with history, art, and tradition. Wander through lively plazas, enjoy world-famous tapas, and experience the rhythms of flamenco in the city where it was born. From the stunning architecture of the Royal Alcázar to the winding streets of the historic Santa Cruz neighborhood, Seville offers an unforgettable setting for cultural discovery and learning. After the program is over, you will return to UC Davis for winter quarter 2027.
