My name is Anna Yang. I graduated from UC Davis, double majoring in communications and Chinese, and a minor in education. I have been working in the higher education industry since 2016 and I see myself as having "a soul of teacher." I am highly interested and motivated in guiding students achieve their goals through actively seeking new experiences to broaden their visions and enriching their educational journey.

Global Learning expanded my vision as a first-generation college student who immigrated to the U.S. in my early teenage years. My cross-cultural and trilingual background granted me an advantage of global education at an early age, that also allows me to blend a combination of Western and Traditional Chinese culture to see things in a diverse, inclusive perspective. I also love to travel and see the world because it puts into perspective how different everyone may be, but we are all humans at the same time.

Henry Miller said, "One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things." We are lucky to study in such a resourceful and diverse university. I encourage you all to cherish the opportunity and take part in Global Learning through our programs to become a Global Learner and promote "Global Education for All!"
