A Message to Students and Parents
The LSE study abroad program is near and dear to my heart for several reasons. First, in my role as Department Chair of Political Science I was responsible for designing the program and getting it established, and I consider that one of my major accomplishments for adding to the student experience of UC students. Second, I was the faculty leader for the program in 2017, and I very much enjoyed the experience and working with the students. Third, I love to travel, and my wife and I made it a priority to introduce our children to international travel and educational opportunities. Finally, on a personal note, my grandfather grew up right across from what is now LSE, and somehow that makes me feel like I have a connection to LSE and London more generally."
