Program Overview
Spend six weeks this summer interning in Dublin—a city where centuries of history meet a booming, entrepreneurial economy, making it one of the world's great meeting points for international business. As an intern, you'll gain marketable, real-world skills while learning what it means to work in a global professional context, with placements tailored to your interests across fields like accounting, finance, advertising, communication, marketing, public relations, international trade, logistics, hospitality and tourism, and more. Host companies range from scrappy startups to major global players, many drawn to Dublin's reputation as a European hub for innovation.
You'll spend five days a week at your internship, plus about two hours weekly on an online course led by a UC Davis instructor. Along the way, weekly discussion groups, small group activities, and a variety of events will help you integrate into the city, your cohort, and your internship—all while soaking up Dublin's one-of-a-kind mix of literary history, academic tradition, and modern energy.
