Widening Circles: Global Social Impact Program

Program Funding

Funded by generous donor support, this program covers the full program fee to Omprakash and provides each student with a $2,000 grant to support the out-of-pocket expenses associated with the social impact experience.

Undergraduate Students

In 2026, we have over $40,000 to award to undergraduate students. The awards are supported by:

Pitzer Family Foundation

Since 2013, the Pitzer Family Foundation has consistently contributed to the mission of UC Davis Global Affairs to achieve “Global Education for All,” an initiative to provide all students with global learning opportunities.

Aggie Domestic Study Abroad Award

This award was established to support UC Davis students in pursuing domestic or locally based global learning opportunities. Through their generosity, the donors aim to provide students with greater access to meaningful academic and personal enrichment experiences.

Graduate Students

Review the Social Impact Track of the Global Grad Grants webpage for more details, including application process, timeline and donor information. In 2026, over $60,000 awarded across both tracks of the Global Grad Grants.
