Each UC Davis Summer Abroad Internship program pairs UC Davis Study Abroad with a partner organization that manages the personalized internship placements; arranges accommodations and excursions; leads onsite orientations and optional social events; and provides 24/7 emergency support.

UC Davis Summer Abroad Internships in Japan offers students the opportunity to earn units over the summer through immersive coursework, enhanced by local excursions, guest lectures and reflective assignments.

Explore Tokyo for a week before interning for seven weeks in Japan’s agricultural sector in rural communities and islands.

The program fees cover lodging, select meals, transportation, and excursions, while personal expenses like airfare, entertainment, and medical emergencies are not included, with financial aid available for eligible students.
