Program Overview
Experience the power of storytelling in Ireland and Northern Ireland, where sweeping landscapes and rich cultural heritage set the stage for explorations of history, literature, and activism. Become immersed in Ireland’s storied history and stand in the very places where writing sparked movements and fueled revolutions. While on the program, explore how Irish writers and activists have challenged oppression and reimagined freedom through interdisciplinary coursework, field experiences, and real-world dialogue. Enter a familiar college setting at the University College Dublin (UCD) campus, where you’ll live, attend classes, and mingle with other international students abroad. Join us in Ireland to examine struggles for justice, develop your own voice for change, and complete your upper-division writing requirement in a place where literature and liberation walk hand in hand.
