Program Overview

Paris is our classroom. No French experience required. Immerse yourself in Parisian life by relaxing at a café terrace to people-watch, creating your own Impressionist painting and keeping a travel journal or blog to share with friends and family. Explore iconic destinations including the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles, Monet’s Gardens in Giverny and Mont Saint-Michel during an overnight excursion to Normandy. These experiences are the foundation of the course as we learn to "read" monuments and examine how Paris remembers historical moments through art and public memory. Along the way, you'll gain a deeper understanding of French history and discover how art, history and society intersect. Spend a month living and learning in one of the world's most inspiring cities. Taught in English. No prerequisites.
