Accommodations
Todi
Students will be staying at a local guesthouse run by a local monastery in shared double rooms with an ensuite bathroom. Wi-Fi internet access is included. Bath towels and sheets are also provided. However, hairdryers and air conditioning are not available.
Rome
In Rome, students will be staying at a local guest house located in the ancient and charming Trastevere neighborhood.
Students will stay in triple rooms with an ensuite bathroom. Amenities included free Wi-Fi, daily breakfast, bath towels and sheets, hairdryer, and mini-refrigerator. A laundromat is located within 500 meters of the property.
UC Davis reserves the right to change the accommodation location. Should this be necessary, we will arrange alternative lodging. Please note that elevators, air conditioners and other modern conveniences may not be available in all locations.
Meals
Todi
During weekdays, breakfast and lunch will be served at the Monastery during weekdays when the group is not going on field trips. You will be on your own for dinner. On weekends, breakfast will be served, but you will be on your own for lunch and dinner.
Rome
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. You will be on your own for lunch and dinner.
Excursions & Activities
There will be several field trips to other Italian cities. Transportation will be provided and is included in the costs.

- Visit and draw from the Duomo Frescoes- Climb the walls
- Climb the Torre del Mangia
- Draw in the Piazza
Field Trip to Orvieto
- See and draw from the Signorelli Frescoes in the Duomo
- Take a guided tour of the caves under Todi
Field Trip to Florence
- Visit the Uffizi Gallery
- Museo San Marco- Fra. Angelico
Field Trip to Assisi
- Basilica of St. Francis (Giotto)

Participation in this UC Davis Study Abroad program requires travel to and extended living in a foreign location(s) abroad. UC Davis Study Abroad endeavors to reduce and mitigate risk wherever possible. However, the environments and risks associated with living in these locations are substantially different than those found during a regular course of study at UC Davis.
